Attorney Danielle Streed focuses her practice in the field of estate planning, including the preparation of wills, trusts, powers of attorney and advance directives for healthcare, as well as charitable giving, special needs planning, and probate and estate administration.
Danielle has been practicing estate planning and probate law for over 31 years since her admission to the Michigan Bar in 1991. She is a frequent seminar speaker and has authored several articles.
A native of Colorado, Danielle came to Michigan to attend the Thomas M. Cooley School of Law and has lived in the Great Lakes State ever since. She has served the community in a number of ways, including serving on non-profit boards such as Friends of the Portage Senior Center, United Way Fund Development Initiative Committee, Kalamazoo Hospital Hospitality House, Senior Services Fund Development, Alzheimer Association, Kalamazoo March of Dimes, Kalamazoo Community Foundation Leave a Legacy Program, Live from Kalamazoo, Battle Creek Community Foundation Professional Advisors’ Committee, Girls on the Run, Kalamazoo Network, Kalamazoo Civic Theatre, past president for the Society of Financial Service Professionals and past board member for Advia Credit Union. Danielle is a founding member of Women Who Care of Kalamazoo County.
